Within the parish
The church within the Parish of St Margaret’s is one of four churches the Benefice covers in three villages – Stanstead St Margarets, Great Amwell and Stanstead Abbotts.
The church is actually known as ‘St Mary the Virgin, Stanstead St Margarets’ and is dated c.1300.
