The next meetings scheduled to take place are the Annual Parish Meeting followed by the Annual Council Meeting. These will take place on Tuesday 10 May 2022 starting at 7.30pm in the Meeting Room of the Nigel Copping Community Building
Brown Garden Waste Bin
East Hertfordshire District Council operate a chargeable garden waste collection. Once you have subscribed you will then receive garden waste collections on a fortnightly basis for 12 months.
Most of your organic garden waste, including grass cuttings, prunings, twigs and leaves can be added to your brown bin.
Waste collections
Blue Recycling Bin
Recycling is collected mixed in your blue lidded bin. The only separating you need to do is place paper in your paper box. East Hertfordshire District Council provide each household in the district with one blue lidded bin and collect fortnightly.
Black Waste Bin
Your black wheeled bin is collected fortnightly on your waste week. Only items that cannot be composted or recycled should go into your black bin.
For residents who have difficult access or no front or rear garden East Hertfordshire District Council operate a sack collection service.
Additional collection services
- If you are not physically able to place your bins on the boundary you may qualify for an Assisted Bin Collection.
- If you have a bin that is damaged or you have a bin missing please, Request a replacement bin for your property.
