The next meetings scheduled to take place are the Annual Parish Meeting followed by the Annual Council Meeting. These will take place on Tuesday 10 May 2022 starting at 7.30pm in the Meeting Room of the Nigel Copping Community Building
Stanstead Abbotts & St Margarets Neighbourhood Plan
The Neighbourhood Plan is formed of a group of local residents, which includes Parish Councillor representation from Stanstead Abbotts, St Margarets and Great Amwell. A Steering Group meet monthly and are committed to producing a Neighbourhood Plan for the village’s future.
The main purpose of the Steering Group is to oversee the preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan for the designated area in order to progress to Independent Examination along with a successful community referendum, and then ultimately be adopted by East Herts District Council to become planning policy.
The Steering Group engage with the local community to ensure that the Plan is truly representative of the ambitions of St Margarets, Stanstead Abbotts & Great Amwell parishes.
